Spring Community Grants Applications are Open!
The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area is now accepting applications for our Spring Community Grants program! Applications are due on Friday, March 15, 2024 at 4:30pm (EST).
Join us for one of the following Applicant Info Sessions over Zoom:
Thursday, February 22, 2024 @ 1pm
Tuesday, February 27, 2024 @ 4pm
Wednesday, March 6, 2024 @ 10am

Our Community Grants program is our broadest and largest granting program which provides grants to support projects, programs, and initiatives undertaken by qualified donees such as registered charities across the KFL&A region, in our fields of interest. Applicants may apply for one of the following streams: Equipment Grant; Program Grant; or Operations Grant. In the past two years, the median amount granted out per proposal has been $12,000, with the range of grants being from $750 – $36,000. Operations Grants are capped at $16,000. The Community Fund directly supports charitable organizations in the Greater Kingston area by granting to their projects across our fields of interest: Arts & Culture, Children’s Mental Health, Community Development, Education & Literacy, Environment, Health & Social Services, Heritage Preservation, Recreation, and Youth.
