Kingston, Ontario (November 9, 2016)

Several members of the Foundation’s Community Grants Committee along with Tina were delighted to attend the “Paper to Wood” ceremony held by Sistema Kingston at Molly Brant Public School in early November. At this event the children who have just started with the program receive a child-size violin, viola or cello in exchange for the paper mache versions of the instruments they have been practicing with to begin the program.

This was an exciting event for all involved especially the children and their families who filled the gym with their enthusiastic support. We look forward to attending the May concert to see the progress that the students have made and experience the joy of their music making.
