Now Accepting Applications for the Regina Rosen Food First Fund
The Community Foundation for Kingston & Area is now accepting applications for the Regina Rosen Food First Fund granting program.
The Regina Rosen Food First Fund was established at the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area in 2012 to support food providing or food security organizations within the broader Kingston Community. Committee members select one organization per month to receive a $1,000 grant.
Applicants should be engaged in alleviating hunger and addressing food insecurity and food inequity in the broader Kingston community. Grants can be applied to assist in the provision of food, staff, equipment or the distribution, preparation and promotion of nutritious food.
The Regina Rosen Food First Committee is meeting in early April to determine granting for the second half of 2021.
Applications received by noon on Friday, March 26, 2021 will be considered for this next round of funding.
Applications received after March 26, 2021 are still eligible for funding but will be considered for grants given in the first half of 2022.
