Mar 10, 2017

“An exciting start to 2017”

On February 22nd, the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, along with the City of Kingston, celebrated the granting of a special one time opportunity to fund 13 local Kingston projects in celebration of Canada’s Sesquicentennial.

“We have such big plans here in Kingston to be at the forefront of celebrating Canada’s Sesquicentennial. It’s tremendous that we have an opportunity to partner with the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area to put some dollars together to then be able to partner with a number of diverse agencies across the city and really make Canada’s Sesquicentennial celebrations here in Kingston come to life.” His Worship Mayor of Kingston, Bryan Paterson.

This $80K funding opportunity was made possible by a partnership between the Community Foundation for Kingston & Area, the City of Kingston, Community Foundations of Canada and the Canada 150 Fund.
